What We Do
Sun House is a nine-bedroom interim shelter, serving people who are experiencing mental health diagnoses and homelessness. Sun House has been operated by Sun Community Service, a 501c3 non-profit, since 1975. At Sun House, we strive to give every individual an everyday life.
Residents of Sun House are provided hygiene products, clean bedding, and a homecooked meal every night, prepared by staff.
Sun House residents also receive assistance with medications, case management services, and someone to talk to at all hours of the day. Our trained staff are on-duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
At Sun House, we strive to provide not only a place to recover, but a place to call home.
